Mineral Conflict
Mineral conflict
The international community is trying in many ways to reduce and limit the illegal exploitation and inhumane rare minerals used in the electronics industry. In this regard it was issued a document that aims to regulate these minerals route starting from the supplier of minerals, foundry, electronics factory, until the final electronic product factory, electronic or end user of the product. This document is known as the Dodd-Frank Act Conflict Minerals Rule. Finally, the practical implementation of these regulations should lead to the production that does not include minerals from conflict regions or products free of minerals in category "3TG - mineral conflicts" (abbreviation of the name of the 4 minerals).
Electrotehno can declare at this point that all its products include minerals in category "3TG - mineral conflicts" but has implemented a procedure that monitors the supply chain.
